The fire that forced the closure of the Fuente de la Pólvora and Les Pedreres waterfalls in Girona has been brought under control.

Shortly after 10 p.m., firefighters declared the blaze in the Girona Powder Magazine area under control, forcing the Font de la Pólvora and Les Pedreres neighborhoods to be placed under lockdown this Friday.
