The Catalan Society of Emergency Medicine has requested "solutions" from the Catalan Health Department in response to the increase in patients coming to the emergency room and needing hospitalization. According to the Catalan National Health Association (ACN), they have been "concerned" for some time about a "very significant" increase in visits and waiting times.
