The Barris Plan will allow more libraries to open in August.

Barcelona City Council has begun rolling out the Plan de Barris (Barriers Plan), which aims to combat inequality in the city by allocating €300 million to 315 initiatives through 2028 in projects across 27 neighborhoods. It also includes two unique plans for mountain neighborhoods and the Prat Vermell Marina.
