A second case of West Nile fever has been confirmed in Extremadura.

The Extremadura Health Service (SES) has confirmed a second case of West Nile fever In Extremadura, the affected person is a 65-year-old man who is hospitalized at Don Benito-Villanueva Hospital. The first case was detected on August 8 in a 57-year-old man from Cáceres.
