A man dies after being stabbed in a fight in Roda de Berà.

BarcelonaAnother death by knife in Catalonia. In this case, a man was stabbed to death early Saturday morning after a fight on the Roda de Berà seafront promenade (Tarragonès). According to the ACN (National Police), the man was in his 50s. The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) are investigating the incident and are searching for "the perpetrator or perpetrators" of the crime, according to a statement from the Catalan police.

At around 2:00 a.m., the Roda de Berà Local Police received a call that a person had been seriously injured in the area of the seafront promenade. The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) arrived at the scene and found a man dead from a knife attack.

Emergency Medical System (SEM) officers were only able to certify the death of the victim, who suffered a knife wound to the chest. The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan Police) of the Camp de Tarragona Police Region have taken charge of the investigation. The case is under confidentiality.
