Investigate a new street shooting in Viladecans
The Mossos found several bullet casings on the ground, but no injuries were reported
BarcelonaThe Mossos d'Esquadra are investigating a new shooting in broad daylight, this time on the terrace of a restaurant in Viladecans. The events occurred on Wednesday night, around 11 p.m. Police sources have confirmed to ARA that, when officers arrived at the scene, they found "several bullet casings on the ground" but no trace of the shooters, nor any injured persons.
According to the digital outlet El Caso, the shooting began when two high-end vehicles approached the bar's terrace and opened fire. They then allegedly sped off towards the C-32. The cars, the digital outlet reports, had German and Spanish license plates.
The Mossos d'Esquadra have not yet wished to provide details on the number of casings found on the ground or the caliber of the bullets. The case is now under investigation to find the perpetrators and determine if the shots were aimed at a person with the intention of harming them, or if they were simply intimidatory.
