Forty people evacuated due to a fire in a building under construction in Hospitalet
The fire broke out at dawn in a building full of rubbish and accumulated material and left ten slightly affected
About forty people were evacuated early this morning due to a fire that broke out in a building under construction on Aprestadora street, in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. The Generalitat Firefighters received the alert at 3:48 a.m. and, upon arrival, found the building with a large accumulation of material and debris.
The Emergency Medical System (SEM) activated nine ambulances and attended to ten people affected by the fire, all in mild condition. Five were discharged at the scene, while the other five were transferred to the CUAP Pura Fernández and Cornellà.
Seven units from the Generalitat Firefighters worked on the extinction tasks, with the support of the Barcelona Firefighters. For the moment, the causes that originated the fire have not transpired.
