Officials at Collblanc station on Barcelona's L10 South metro line have evacuated all passengers due to smoke. The incident occurred a few minutes ago. The Catalan Fire Service (Bombers de Catalunya) deployed up to nine crews at 7:20 a.m. after receiving reports of smoke coming from one of the tunnel areas. Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) has told ARA that they have no evidence of fire anywhere in the station and that the evacuation was a precautionary safety measure. Currently, there is partial service from the Airport to Europa Feria on L9 South and from ZAL to Provençana on L10 South. Meanwhile, service on L5 – which also intersects at Collblanc – is operating normally.

Meanwhile, firefighters have cut the power to the overhead line and are now investigating, with two separate teams working together, the source of the smoke. "We are inspecting the line with a thermal camera, from Collblanc towards the University Zone and from Camp Nou to Collblanc," the officers explained in a message on social media. For its part, Civil Protection has activated the Ferrocat plan at the pre-alert stage.
