Catalonia recorded more than 3,000 attacks on healthcare professionals in 2025, 78% of which were against women.

Catalonia recorded 3,039 attacks against healthcare professionals last year. This figure comes from the report by the Observatory for Situations of Violence in the Healthcare Sector, which the Catalan Health Department presented at an event at the College of Physicians to mark the day against such attacks.
