The Prosecutor's Office wants Jonathan Andic to return to Collbató to explain his father's fall

BarcelonaThe Prosecutor's Office has asked the Martorell judge investigating the death of Mango's founder, Isak Andic, to order a reconstruction of his fall. This means that the public ministry wants the businessman's son and sole suspect, Jonathan Andic, to return to the Collbató caves to clarify what happened, according to ACN. The Prosecutor's Office has requested several investigative measures, now that the investigation is no longer secret, among which the return to Collbató with the suspect present stands out.

In cases of possible homicide, which are tried by jury, it is not uncommon for the investigating judge to go to the scene of the crime with the main suspect so that they can clarify their version accompanied by the investigating police officers, the Prosecutor's Office, and the lawyers. In the specific case of Andic, it would be a matter of verifying in situ the version of Andic's son, which varied in some aspects in his various statements, especially regarding the location of both of them and how he saw the fall.

More technological evidence

Likewise, the fiscal ministry has also requested that the court order various judicial and police investigations such as technological tests, content and diverse information from the mobile phones of those involved or more information about Jonathan Andic's lightning trip to Ecuador in March 2025, three months after the events, where his phone was allegedly stolen on the day of his father's death.

On the other hand, the public ministry has also requested, as an investigation, the testimony of the two hikers who met Jonathan Andic after the events. The Mossos did not take their statement, considering it of no interest to the case, as the hikers apparently did not see the fall and Jonathan Andic was found by them half an hour later. The public ministry, however, wants to know how they saw Jonathan Andic just after his father's fall.
