The Mossos ask floor by floor in the block where a dead baby was found in a plastic bag
The child has been located lifeless in a building in La Mina, Sant Adrià de Besòs
The Mossos d'Esquadra are investigating the discovery of a dead baby inside a plastic bag, in Sant Adrià de Besòs (Barcelonès), as reported by Metròpoli and confirmed by ARA. The events took place this Wednesday at midday when a person alerted to the presence of a plastic bag with blood on the landing of the stairs of a block of flats on Llevant street, in the La Mina neighborhood. After 5 p.m., the Catalan police continue to question floor by floor to try to clarify the events. For now, the baby's age has not been disclosed nor is there any information about its family.
"All full of police, spectacular," comments a neighbor who lives on the ninth floor of the same building. The events have shocked the entire neighborhood, which, as the hours pass, has become aware of it by word of mouth "or by TikTok," explains a neighbor from a parallel building. A resident, who prefers not to give his name, explains that this incident is not the norm in a neighborhood as historically stigmatized as La Mina has been: "We have the same conflicts as anywhere else," he assures, making it clear that "here we all know each other, it's like a village".
A resident who prefers not to give his name, but who has been present in the neighborhood for more than 40 years, explains that the social situation in the neighborhood has become complicated at times, "with 8 and 10 people living in the same flat".
