Appeal to find the owner of an electric wheelchair in Barcelona

The serial number of the machine is 000000407

BarcelonaThe Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) are searching for the owner of an electric wheelchair that the police were able to recover. ARA has learned that it is still unclear whether the chair was stolen or lost by the owner. However, it was recovered on August 19 in the Parque de la España Industrial area, in the Sants-Montjuïc district of Barcelona. So far, no one has filed a claim.

Specifically, almost a month ago, Mossos d'Esquadra officers saw a homeless man carrying a half-disassembled electric wheelchair. When asked if it was his, the man replied that he had found it on the street. The police kept the chair and reported the man for misappropriation. After several investigations, the owner has still not been located. The chair is valued at more than 1,000 euros.

According to police sources, the chair is mostly black and bears the inscription "PARTNER," which could correspond to the model. It also has a serial number engraved on it: 000000407. The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) report that it is in good condition, although it does not have controls or armrests. The seat cushion was also torn off. It is currently at the Sants-Montjuïc police station, awaiting its owner's claim. If no one claims it and the owner is not located, the Mossos d'Esquadra will make arrangements with an association so that someone in need can use it.
