An 82-year-old man drowns on a beach in Tarragona.

An 82-year-old man drowned yesterday, Thursday, on Tamarit beach in Tarragona, according to the Generalitat's Civil Protection service on Friday. This is the ninth death on Catalonia's beaches since the official start of the summer season on June 15.
