An 80-year-old man drowns on the beach of Sant Antoni de Calonge.

An 80-year-old man drowned this Saturday morning on the beach of Sant Antoni de Calonge (Baix Empordà). The 112 call was received around noon. The victim was in the water at the beach, which was under lifeguard duty and had a yellow flag due to the presence of jellyfish.
