They document for the first time the presence of the northern bat in the Iberian Peninsula in the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park

A scientific expedition to Cadí-Moixeró Park has documented for the first time the presence of the northern bat (Cnephaeus nilssonii) on the peninsula. This is an exceptional find because it expands its distribution range, which until now was limited to the boreal regions of Europe and the Alps.
