Constitutional Court rejects Turull's appeal against referendum sentence, who may now turn to EU court

BarcelonaThe Constitutional Court has knocked dismissed former Minister Jordi Turull's appeal against the sentence on the Independence Referendum. This means Turull may now appeal to EU's court. However, the Constitutional court was divided on the ruling: while seven judges backed the majority opinion, two issued dissenting opinions.
