A thousand people demonstrate in Perpignan in defense of the Catalan Countries

Around a thousand people demonstrated this Saturday in Perpignan to mark Northern Catalonia Day, according to organizers. Pro-independence groups and parties defended the unity of the Catalan Countries on a date that commemorates their annexation to France under the Treaty of the Pyrenees.
