Alberto González Amador's company did not have the necessary means to provide the services it charged Quirón for

BarcelonaNew revelations complicate the situation of Isabel Díaz Ayuso's partner. A report from the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT) indicates that a company owned by Alberto González Amador did not have "the necessary means for the provision of consulting services" that it billed to Quirón Prevención, as it was a company for aesthetic and beauty treatments.

The report, advanced this Thursday by Eldiario.es and to which the Efe agency has had access, is included in another report from last December by the Central Operative Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard and is part of the separate proceeding in which Judge Antonio Viejo is investigating González Amador for alleged corruption in business within the framework of his dealings with Quirón Prevención.

The judge sees indications that the partner of the Madrid president acquired for almost half a million euros a company, Círculo de Belleza S.L., owned by the wife of the then president of Quirón Prevención, Fernando Camino, with "the true purpose" of "satisfying a commission" to the executive. Once purchased, he renamed it Masterman & Whitaker, but its means were not related to the "advisory services" it provided, according to the AEAT.

González Amador's defense has filed a request with the court arguing that the facts reported by the Tax Agency "are no longer subject to investigation by the Court [...] because the instruction and intermediate phase of the procedure has concluded." This process runs separately from the main case, in which the businessman is awaiting a trial date for an alleged tax fraud of approximately 350,000 euros.
