The PSOE of Extremadura already has a replacement for Miguel Ángel Gallardo: Álvaro Sánchez Cotrina

Alvaro Sánchez Cotrina will replace Miguel Ángel Gallardo at the head of the PSOE of Extremadura. Gallardo resigned from his post in December of last year after the failure in the regional elections, in which he obtained the worst result in the party's history. Cotrina has defeated Soraya Vega.
