BarcelonaThe independence movement is repeating last year's formula, and on September 11th the mobilization for Catalonia's National Day will once again be decentralized. This year there will be demonstrations in Barcelona, Girona, and Tortosa under the slogan More reasons than ever. Independence. This was announced by the organizers of the Barcelona Palace Plan, who hope to present the demonstration with a "social content" and have presented the defense of language and culture as the main reasons for participating. During the presentation, the president of the ANC, Lluís Llach, called for mobilization so that the Diada may be "a clamor that predicts the definitive resumption" of Catalonia's national liberation and "a celebration of reunion to restart the struggle."

Although there will be political events in the three cities where demonstrations will take place, the central event will be in Barcelona, and Girona and Tortosa will be connected to follow the unified discourse of the mobilization. Before then, the demonstrations will begin, as always, at 5:14 p.m. In the Catalan capital, the march will begin at Pla de Palau, continue along Passeig de Isabel II, and end in front of number 1 La Rambla. In Girona, the starting point will be Plaça Catalunya and the Devesa gardens. In Tortosa, the march will begin in Plaça Gerard Vergés and end at the confluence of Avinguda Catalunya and Passeig del Ebro.

Llach has stated that the Catalan Alliance will not be welcome at the demonstration for "violating human rights" and "the tradition of Catalanist struggle," and the president of Òmnium, Xavier Antich, has emphasized that the Diada must be "the mirror of a strong, trans, democratic Catalanism and independence movement." This year, the Catalan National Assembly (ANC), Òmnium Cultural, the Council of the Republic, the Intersindical (Union of Trade Unions), and the Escarré International Center for Ethnic Minorities and Nations (CIEMEN) are calling for the mobilization.

The pro-independence left is calling for a confrontation with "false stability."

For its part, with the motto The fight is always now, the pro-independence left will demonstrate in Lleida, Girona, Reus, and Barcelona to "grow the disobedient, combative, national, and class-based alternative" that confronts the "false stability" of the PSOE and the PSC. This was explained by CUP spokesperson Su Moreno on Monday at the presentation of the political group's events for the Diada. The organizers also detailed that the rallies will be at 12 p.m. in Lleida and Girona, at 6 p.m. in Barcelona, and at 7 p.m. in Reus.
