The Catalan government will make a "concrete" proposal on the governance of El Prat airport in the first quarter of 2026.

The Catalan Minister of Territory and spokesperson for the Catalan Government, Sílvia Paneque, believes there is room to improve the Generalitat's role in the governance of El Prat Airport. In an interview with ACN, she stated that a "concrete and feasible" proposal to achieve this will be made in the first quarter of 2026.
