The General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ) is considering complaints against the DANA judge and Judge Peinado.

The General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ) has opened information proceedings against Judge Juan Carlos Peinado—the person investigating the Begoña Gómez case—and against the Catarroja judge investigating the DANA case, Nuria Ruiz, following complaints about the investigation.
