The Catalan Parliament on Thursday approved the new financing model agreed upon between the ERC (Republican Left of Catalonia) and the Spanish government. With votes from the PSC (Socialist Party of Catalonia) and the Republicans, the proposal put forward by the Comuns (Commons) was approved, based on the argument that it would "protect public services, healthcare, and education" and advance housing.
