Parliament calls for the voting age to be lowered to 16

Parliament has called for lowering the voting age to 16 through "appropriate actions in the Spanish legislative chambers." Specifically, the chamber approved a motion sponsored by ERC, which was approved with the favorable votes of the PSC, Junts, Comuns, and CUP, and the abstention of the Catalan Alliance.
