Moncloa is confident of an agreement to contain rents despite the clash with Sumar

Although Pedro Sánchez's new proposals to curb rental prices have not been well received by the coalition's junior partner, Sumar, the Moncloa Palace is downplaying the clash and is confident of reaching an agreement. "Through dialogue and education, we will find a way," said spokesperson Elma Saiz on Tuesday.
