Illa remembers Companys with a call to "not repeat the errors of the past" and "bar the path to authoritarianism"

The President of the Generalitat, Salvador Illa, has vindicated the figure of former President Lluís Companys, calling to "keep in mind where one comes from so as not to repeat the mistakes of the past." Some "mistakes of the past," he said in reference to Francoism, of which Companys was a victim.
