In the podcast, in which Carod shares a conversation with comedian Andrés Fajngold, the presenter of The solution She recounts the panic she felt when the delivery began to get complicated and admits that it's difficult to explain without getting emotional. After a healthy pregnancy, Carod went into labor and ultimately had to have an emergency cesarean section. "I remember them cutting me open, feeling them take the baby out, and suddenly, there's complete silence in the operating room, and I don't hear the baby cry. Those were the most horrifying seconds of my life. I went into a rage: 'Why isn't he crying? Why isn't he crying?' Then Xavi asked, 'Is everything alright?' And they said, 'No,'" explains Carod, who admits that her world collapsed. "At that moment, I even thought, 'Your life has lasted 42 years, it's been great, it's okay, Elisenda, but if you come out of there without Guillem, who is my son, you're not going to make it,'" she says, holding back tears.

Doctors spent four and a half minutes resuscitating Guillem, who ultimately pulled through. "We received the answer 'the child is safe but in serious condition' after six hours. And we received the answer that there had been no brain damage after a week. Everything turned out wonderfully and with zero lasting effects," she explains.

Since becoming a mother, Carod occasionally shares some of her experiences on social media. Before becoming pregnant, she also discussed the fertility problems she had experienced. "Because it's a very personal thing, I'm going to decide to explain why I found that they don't talk much. In the next process, which has followed since then, I always felt "Oh, I got embarrassed at the first time." It seems that someone who has gone through my long journey doesn't know that there are many of us who are going through that moment. I decided to explain it, and it was hard, because at that time I was not pregnant and I was having a terrible time," said Carod in an interview in the ARA.

In the same conversation, she stated that motherhood is the time in her life when she is facing the most doubts: "I couldn't imagine that I could doubt myself so much about how I'm doing something."
