I want to be like Donald Trump

Trump is responsible for everything but is never to blame for anything. How enviable. If something goes wrong, as is the case with the result of these elections that we have followed more than the Americans themselves, it is not because of his desire to enrich himself by taking advantage of the presidency; nor because of his immigration policies that the police execute without batting an eyelid; nor because of his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein; nor because of his permanent sexism; nor because of cutting the few public services that exist in the USA; nor because of making tax cuts for billionaires like him. Perhaps a little bit because of the Iran war that made oil prices rise, that yes. He acknowledges that. But he also acknowledges that he would do the same thing again because it is what had to be done and because Trump and remorse are two terms that never go together anywhere. This man goes through the world light as a cobweb. The weight of his actions is carried by the world.

What liberation he must feel when he comes out with those airs of a winner when he is clearly the loser. At least at the polls. He does not feel the weight of responsibility because his responsibility is to be a textbook egomaniac. But he, in reality, can feel like a winner. Look where he is. Look where he has been before. It seemed impossible, but he has repeated. Because many people admire men who are sure of themselves, those who do not show emotional vulnerability because this job does not ask for emotions. Men who boast of being strong as a cobweb. What filigree, the cobwebs. Trump is a winner even if he loses, because many people take him for a madman when in reality he is a viper. Madmen are made of another material that does not burn. He, on the other hand, with that orange skin knows that, if you get close, you will get scorched. No, madmen do not do the harm of a megalomaniac.

The US president attributes the electoral failure to the fact that one could not vote for him. Wonderful. He is the teammate everyone needs. The victory is his and the defeat is others'. I really want to be like him. With that capacity to live in a parallel reality while in everyone else's reality you are destroying human lives. Self-esteem is poorly distributed. Some so much and others so little. And those who are down think he must not be able to sleep at night. This man sleeps like a log. And a stump. Those who suffer from insomnia are the others, the ones to blame for everything.

We have people close to us who are like Trump. They are not even presidents of a homeowners' association. But they believe that a unique force emanates from them that places them above others. Others, the culprits of everything. They still haven't understood that not regretting what you have done is not incompatible with acknowledging mistakes. In fact, it is here that greatness becomes even greater. But we say this, poor mortals who have grown up with quotes from Rabindranath Tagore. That is why those who have the power of the orange skin mock all of us. Because if we leave aside well-worn aphorisms, he, in reality, always wins. And he will always win. Because you cannot lose if you play at being the master of the world and the world makes you the master. Even if it is only for a single day. Imagine eight years.
