In current gardening there is a tendency to leave gardens untidy and to mix planted seeds with wild herbs, the so-called weeds (and pardon the redundancy). chaos gardening, as this modality is known in English, advocates that nature take its course and that human intervention be minimized. The world itself is a chaos garden, But human intervention has turned it into a space filled with human weeds. Because the so-called weeds have been dogged by a terrible reputation that has seriously wounded the pride of plants, but the term goes a long way to clarifying what kind of people should be eradicated from society: those who don't let the rest live in peace. On the contrary, they keep growing.

In these July days, still filled with fateful memories for many people who lived through 1936, when a very dark era for rights and freedoms began—the reign of a tyrant was established, accompanied by his entire criminal ecclesiastical and civil court, who enclosed the country in once again stubborn farmhouses and spread its worst past like a pandemic that infects everything. To be a fascist today, you must have a very perverse personality, or very depraved ignorance, or a very rotten environment, or highly trained fear. You have to be a very bad person to spread infected messages and distort reality in such a way that supposedly the shit you spread benefits a part of society, leaving the rest margin Those who are already on the margins, who should be neither better nor worse than others, of course, but championing that moral superiority through violence demonstrates a lack of imagination and an insulting resolve.

The weeds don't arrive by boat, nor do they stop arriving. The weeds have long had foreign and native names and surnames. They are our tie-wearing thieves, those who now fill the newspapers and have passed through governments of various stripes, although the diversity is less diverse than it seems; they are those who don't adapt to the system of fair distribution and blow it up out of their own greed, follow their own customs, mistreat women, and go to mass. They are human beings who, despite their fate, have wanted more at the expense of others. But these don't concern themselves because they are their own kind and are protected. The rest, however, get an easy beating. Like the way they screw us, the poor Catalan, from a place of victimhood, as if we didn't get enough, and they do it from a paternalistic colonial state and from the laziness to learn a language. Above all this. It's exhausting to see, read, experience, hear, over and over again, how this garden doesn't let others grow in peace, and how there are so many people willing to make up for their shortcomings by screwing the shit out of the next guy.

The world praises those who emerge from the working-class neighborhood as soccer players, but it doesn't even notice those who stay as teachers, caregivers, social workers, construction workers, cleaners, journalists, gardeners. They don't dazzle the other professions that nurture the garden and make it grow in coexistence, with invisible success but fertilizing the present and the future. The barren seeds have a common origin: their own frustration, which turns them into textbook abusers. The rest flourish with greater or lesser spectacularity, but always enriching a space that becomes perverted when it is no longer freely shared.
