WHO today validated the Sinovac covid vaccine for emergency use, giving countries, funders, procuring agencies, and communities the assurance that it meets international standards for safety, efficacy, and manufacturing. The vaccine is produced by the Beijing-based pharmaceutical company Sinovac.
