Vicky López unblocks Barça in time in Granada
The 18-year-old pearl was the best of the Barça players in the victory at Nuevo Los Cármenes (0-2)

BarcelonaBarça needed 70 minutes to disengage Granada's defensive system and secure another 2-0 victory in the Liga F and prevent Real Madrid from getting too close to the top spot in the standings. The Andalusians, fifth in the table, played a very solid game, driven by the large crowd that rallied around them at the Nuevo Los Cármenes stadium. The home side's resilience fell after a delightful connection between Patri Guijarro, who had come off the bench, and Vicky López, with a reverse and a skillful shot.
The 18-year-old gem of Pere Romeu's team was one of the best players for the Blaugranas. In a sluggish first half, Vicky was the player who provided the most light in the Catalans' attack. In a rotating lineup, Romeu again gave minutes to Sydney Schertenleib, who initially started as a central midfielder. The Swiss player had a more modest performance compared to the exuberance she had shown in some of the recent matches.
After the break, Patri came on, and the Mallorca player, along with Mapi León, who also came onto the pitch, directly contributed to changing Barça's game. With energy and talent, Patri led the Barça attack, setting up Vicky to open the scoring in the 73rd minute. Just two minutes later, a long run from Mapi ended with Ewa Pajor controlling the ball with her chest and laying it in for Alexia Putellas, allowing the captain to effortlessly score her twelfth goal.
