Telefónica sells its subsidiary in Argentina for 1 billion to a consortium with participation from Clarín

Telefónica has sold its subsidiary in Argentina for 1.245 billion dollars (about 1.19 billion euros) to Telecom Argentina, controlled by the Clarín group, according to the CNMV. This is the first major divestment since Marc Murtra took over as president of Telefónica.
