The Colombian singer was due to play in the capital, but both of her performances have been cancelled due to technical problems with the stage.

Shakira was due to perform two times at the National Stadium in Santiago de Chile: the first of the concerts, scheduled for this past Sunday, was cancelled just six hours before the start of the show. According to the artist, the inclination of the stage put his physical integrity, that of the dancers, the technicians and also the spectators at risk. As it could not be repaired in time, he also cancelled the second show, which was due to take place this Monday.
"We continue and will continue working to find a solution and provide the optimal conditions that guarantee a 100% show," indicated the local production company, Fenix Entretenimiento, a few days ago. In fact, it is the one that the artist blames for the cancellations: "We trust at all times that the production company hired by the local promoter would follow to the letter the specifications that we asked for so that a show of that magnitude could be done."
Hours before this second suspension, the Colombian singer had already apologized to all the fans who had bought a ticket for one of the two concerts scheduled in Chile – many of whom came from neighboring countries, such as Peru or Bolivia – to see the show. Women don't cry anymore.
"I am heartbroken that I cannot sing today for reasons beyond my control. However, I am certain that I will return to Chile very soon to present the show I promised, even if I myself have to inspect the ground and every last snail of the structure that holds up my stage," Sha explained.
