The eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano, on the La Palma island, has entered a new explosive phase and, according to the Radiotelevisión Canaria, preventive confinement of the populations of Tajuya and Tacande de Abajo, and part of Tacande de Arriba that had not been evacuated, has been ordered.
