BarcelonaThe walled-up house, by Julià de Jòdar, has won the 2025 Serra d'Or Critics' Award in the novel category, while actor and theatre director Jordi Oriol has taken home the performing arts award for best theatre creator. Counterpoint, by Susanna Rafart, has won the poetry category; Hunger in the eyes, cement in the mouth. A reading of "Death and Spring" by Mercè Rodoreda, by Neus Penalba, the essay, and Shum, the cartoonist with broken hands, by Jaume Capdevila Cap, the graphic novel. Eusebi Ayensa has won the translation prize for Complete poetry, by Konstandinos P. Kavafis.

In the research section, the winner in humanities was Albert Rossich for From the birth of modern theatre to neoclassicism (16th-18th centuries)In the science section the winner was David Jou and Mirabent for A life in ten equationsFinally, the 2025 Serra d'Or Critics Award for Catalan Studies went to Atlantis, by Jacint Verdaguer, translated by Ronald Puppo.

In the performing arts section, apart from Jordi Oriol, the following have also been awarded: All birds, by Wajdi Mouawad and directed by Oriol Broggi, in the theatre performance category; Inés Boza, who received the lifetime achievement award; and Albert Arribas for Centaure Produccions as the best contribution to the contemporary theoretical scene.

Finally, in the children's and young adult literature category, the children's award went to Windows, with text by Dani Espresate Romero and illustration by Marta Comín; the youth award for The true story of the apple flora, with text by Anna Vilar and illustration by Jordi Vila Delclòs; the knowledge prize for 72 Days and a Suit of Clothes: Around the World with Nellie Bly, with text by Pep Molist and illustration by Ina Hristova, and the comic book award for the trilogy Noceano, by Ricard Efa. The awards recognize the most outstanding works written in Catalan published during the previous year.
