Highest number of Covid cases reported in UK since late January

The UK has recorded 22,868 covid cases and 3 deaths in the latest 24-hour government data shows. The number is the highest since January 30, when there were 23,275 infections. But Boris Johnson said that the Government is working towards a "return to pretty much life before Covid" on July 19.
