BarcelonaThe La Caixa Foundation announced on Wednesday that it will increase its budget by 9% in 2025 to 655 million euros, which is "a record in the history of the entity", according to the Foundation itself.
Of the total planned investment, which amounts to 370 million, 60% will be allocated to the development of social transformation programs, such as CaixaProinfancia, Incorpora or Reincorpora, the Program for Comprehensive Care for People with Advanced Diseases and the Program for the Elderly.

The rest of the budget, 49 million, will be for the education and scholarships area, which awards undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and postdoctoral scholarships, as well as the EduCaixa program.
The president of the La Caixa Foundation, Isidro Fainé, explained that the increase in the budget should allow "continuing to promote social progress, culture and science, education, and research and health."
