Battery manufacturer Northvolt files for technical bankruptcy

The board of directors of Swedish battery manufacturer Northvolt AB has filed for technical bankruptcy in a Stockholm court because it has failed to secure the financing necessary to secure its future. Northvolt was Europe's hope to compete with China in the battery market.
