BarcelonaHotel Majestic in Barcelona is once again claiming its place as a meeting point for art lovers –or perhaps we should say for the arts– in the Catalan capital and beyond. This April, it celebrates Majestic Art Month, an initiative dedicated to seven artistic disciplines, which, for very reasonable prices, will allow you to enjoy a varied series of proposals within the hotel. We highlight some of them below.

Painting and sculpture will take center stage on April 21st at 7 p.m. with a guided tour of the hotel's art collection led by Gonzalo Salaya, an expert in the field. With over 1,000 works of contemporary art, the Majestic hosts pieces by artists such as Antoni Tàpies, Joan Miró, and Eduardo Chillida, along with works by Jaume Plensa, Miguel Ángel Campano, and Ferran García Sevilla, as well as works by contemporary creators such as José María Sicilia and Miquel Barceló.

On April 23rd, coinciding with the celebration of Sant Jordi, one of the most important festivities for the city of Barcelona, the Majestic will unite literature, culture, and solidarity with a new edition of its particular Sant Jordi, in collaboration with the IRES Foundation and its initiative A Rose for a Cause. The day will be completed with the special gastronomic proposal of SOLC Restaurant, a four-course menu of purely Catalan inspiration with dessert and a welcome drink.

Dance and cinema

On April 25th at 8 PM, there will be a tango performance by Fred Astaire Dance Studios at El Bar del Majestic, which will transform the space into a stage full of rhythm and elegance. On April 28th, it will be cinema's turn with a meeting dedicated to the relationship established between fashion and cinema, materialized in a conversation between Rita Rakosnik, an expert in fashion and pop culture, and Carlos Maran, fashion editor of Herdes Magazine, titled Everything 'The Devil Wears Prada' Didn't Tell You.

On April 29th at 7 PM, to commemorate the centenary of Antoni Gaudí's death, a guided tour will take place through La Dolce Vitae, the hotel's

rooftop. All architecture enthusiasts who wish to discover the curiosities of the "architect of God" will be able to do so from this location with very privileged views of the entire city and, in particular, of the Sagrada Familia and Casa Batlló. Some activities have a maximum price of 12 euros and others only involve having a drink at the hotel space where they take place.
