Do you want to work as a journalist at the ARA this summer?
The newspaper is opening a new call for paid scholarships to work in the editorial department.

BarcelonaFor the second year, ARA is offering two paid scholarships for third- or fourth-year journalism students this summer. They will work closely with the newspaper's staff in July and August, working on reaction tasks in the Society, International, Politics, and Economics sections. They will experience the day-to-day work of ARA, actively participating in the editorial process, a great opportunity to test their skills and knowledge while also gaining a foothold in a professional medium.
To apply, interested parties should send ARA their resume and a 30-second video explaining why they would like to work at ARA and what contributions they believe they can make to the newspaper. They must send their applications by May 4 to the following email address:becaestiu@ara.catThe internship will be part of the curriculum and will be conducted through the university where the student is pursuing their studies. The salary will be 840 euros per month, and the job will be at the newspaper's headquarters in the heart of Barcelona, in the Raval neighborhood.
Once all applications are received, 10 finalists will be selected. They will have to take a current affairs test and write a news story to demonstrate their journalistic skills. Those selected will be called for personal interviews, during which their suitability to join the newspaper's team will be assessed.
