School of egos
Some people's egos can do a lot of damage when they try to impose themselves on others. Trump and Musk are an example. Since the former became president, there is no newscast that does not start with him. He has no brakes. And what is Musk's youngest son doing on his father's shoulders, displayed before all the cameras in the presidential office? Are they feeding and educating him with the same kind of ego for the future?

AI and Catalan
What a surprise: we discovered that, whether it was due to algorithms or artificial intelligence, and despite speaking Catalan with my sister, later those conventional conversations – such as talking about a wine or a place to travel – were immediately translated into different offers that appeared on the screen of our mobile phones. In other words, we have been fighting for many years to defend the right to speak our language, whether in Europe or in our land, and we only found obstacles and excuses without any real justification. They say, for example, that the budget to introduce Catalan in the European Parliament is too high... and, on the other hand, anywhere in the world, we can be "spied on", despite speaking Catalan! It seems unbelievable, doesn't it? Enough of the fooling around! I mean, it's time for the world to recognise that those of us who were born in Catalonia and have Catalan as our mother tongue want to continue living speaking our language in our country. What's the problem?

Football is still only for men
I am a football player and every week when I check my team's results on the Catalan Football Federation website, I have to choose between "Football" and "Women's Football". This distinction makes me think that "Football" refers only to men.
I understand that it is necessary to differentiate between men's and women's football in order to improve access to information. The problem is that when we talk about "football" we are still referring to men's football, while for women's football we must make explicit mention.
Despite the progress that women's football has made, the language we use is still gender biased. Perhaps many people do not perceive it, but as a player I notice it every day. Football should be a space for everyone, and language should reflect that equality.

Chaos on the AP-7
Accidents like the one on the AP-7 on February 7th between three trucks, which caused one death and a stoppage of more than six hours for drivers passing by, must be avoided. The director of the Catalan Traffic Service announces the figure of an accident officer in charge of informing drivers to find alternatives. It is not enough. In my opinion, and to avoid accidents, once the AP-7 has become free, trucks should be forced to stay in the slow lane and not be able to move forward unless absolutely necessary. This would certainly reduce accidents and improve traffic.

Trump is revolutionizing international politics, and may seem to provide short-term solutions, but in reality he may be causing much bigger crises in the not-too-distant future. They say that every country has the leaders it deserves, but we, this man, did not vote for him.
