They rob a bank in Germany and take hostages

A bank robbery in Sinzing, in western Germany, has forced a major police deployment in the town center, according to media outlets such as the newspaper Bild and the news portal T-Online. The robbers have taken several hostages, including a cash transport driver, German police assure.
This morning, special police forces headed to the center of Sinzing accompanied by a helicopter after a man threatened one of the bank employees. "We currently believe there are several robbers and hostages inside the bank," report police sources, who confirm the presence of "numerous officers" in the area and who assure that the situation is "stable".
According to T-Online, it is unknown whether the robbery and kidnapping were carried out by one or more people, but in front of the bank there is an armored van for transporting cash. There is no danger to people outside the cordoned-off area, police state.
