Former Polish Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro, under investigation for alleged abuse of power under the far-right Law and Justice (PiS) government, has been granted political asylum in Hungary. Ziobro was a key figure in PiS and implemented judicial reforms that eroded the rule of law.
