Israel welcomes Lebanon's decision to disarm Hezbollah

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday welcomed the Lebanese government's decision to move towards disarmament of the Shiite militia Hezbollah, described as "transcendental", and has expressed its willingness to assist in this process by implementing "reciprocal measures".
