Germany and neighboring countries call for tougher European migration policy

Germany and five neighboring countries have reached an agreement to develop proposals to toughen European migration policies, which includes a commitment to return migrants to hubs in third countries, facilitate deportations in Afghanistan and Syria, and strengthen the EU's external borders.
