Rob and Michele Reiner's children break their silence: "They were our best friends"

This Wednesday, Nick Reiner appeared in court for the first time in Los Angeles. During a brief hearing, Reiner waived his right to a speedy reading of the charges, and the judge ordered him held without bail. The alleged perpetrator will not have to return to court until January 7, at which time the charges against him will be read.
Nick Reiner was arrested last Sunday and charged with two counts of first-degree murder, crimes that could carry a life sentence, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney's office. The motive for the crime is currently unknown. Several witnesses claim that in the hours leading up to the incident, a family argument took place at a Christmas party at comedian Conan O'Brien's home.
