Former South Korean prime minister sentenced to 23 years in prison for complicity in the implementation of martial law

Former South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo was sentenced on Wednesday to 23 years in prison for his complicity in the attempt to impose martial law in December 2024, declared by then-President Yoon Suk-yeol.
