Extreme violence against asylum seekers in London: two arrested and eight police officers injured

Two people were arrested today following a violent protest outside a hotel in Epping, outside London, that houses asylum seekers. Eight officers were injured when the initially peaceful demonstration yesterday escalated into attacks on police and their vehicles.
