Democrats release new photos of Trump surrounded by women at Epstein parties
The images also feature Bill Clinton, Steve Bannon, Woody Allen, and Bill Gates
BarcelonaNew images of US President Donald Trump at parties hosted by the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein have surfaced. Democrats released 19 photos of Epstein on Friday, which, in addition to Trump, also feature figures such as Bill Clinton, Steve Bannon, Woody Allen, and Bill Gates. The current US president appears in three of the photos. In one, he is seen surrounded by six women. In another, he is looking at the camera next to a woman. In the third, Trump is seen with Epstein greeting another woman. One of the most striking images is a photograph where he doesn't appear in person, but rather his face is printed on the wrapper of several condoms. The president's face is accompanied by the phrase "I'm huge," and the image also shows the condoms being sold for $4.50.
The photos were published by Democrats in the US House of Representatives, as part of the House Oversight Committee. Democratic members of the committee say these photographs are a preview of 95,000 new images they have received related to the billionaire convicted of child trafficking and sexual abuse, who was found dead in his cell in 2019. Beyond Trump, the images also implicate figures like former Democratic President Bill Clinton and former Trump advisor and influential figure in the American far right, Steve Bannon. They also include film director Woody Allen, seen conversing at a table with Epstein, and businessman Bill Gates, who appears alongside Prince Andrew of England. Just over a month ago, King Charles III stripped his brother of all royal titles as a result of his connection to the Epstein case.
The images reinforce the existence of a relationship between those depicted and the sexual predator, who in most cases was already known. Thus, they provide further evidence of these connections and what occurred at the tycoon's parties. Moreover, this evidence comes after the events of November Several emails will be published that could implicate Trump in this regard, as well as images from the photos of the island where Epstein committed many of the sex crimes.
Epstein's shadow over Trump
For months, the Epstein case has been implicating the US president. Every time the scandal seems to subside, new evidence emerges that further implicates him.
Among the most recent episodes is Trump's 50th birthday greeting to Epstein, which featured a drawing of a naked woman. In July, when the Wall Street Journal When the existence of this congratulatory message was reported, the US president claimed the newspaper was lying and sued the publication. But in September, the Oversight Committee received and published the letter, which did indeed consist of a drawing of a nude woman with the word "Donald" written below her waist and the US president's signature where her pubic area would be. "We have some things in common, Jeffrey," the text read. The US Congress was able to refute the president and prove the congratulatory message existed thanks to a copy of Epstein's 50th birthday greeting book that his heirs submitted to Congress itself.
This case has shaken Trump's support base, including the unconditional support of his most loyal followers of the MAGA movement (Make America Great AgainInitially, Trump opposed making public the documents of the president's friend and convicted sex offender. In this context, the US president's approval rating dropped to 37%, the second lowest figure after the 34% at the end of his first term, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Months later, Congress passed a law to force the release of the Epstein papers, a collection of, among other things, court documents, bank records, emails, and personal materials. Although Trump had opposed the release of the papers for months, just under a month ago he agreed to release them. The US president turned, and asked the Republican deputies to vote in favor of publishing them during the fourth vote.
