Barcelona City Council will award the Medal of Honor to chef Fermí Puig posthumously.

The Barcelona City Council has agreed to award the 2025 Barcelona Medals of Honor to 25 individuals and organizations that have contributed to civic awareness and values. This year, three are being honored posthumously: chef Fermí Puig, journalist Òscar Muñoz, and bookseller Montserrat Úbeda.
